Ingleton Cubs to the Rescue

2 August 2019

In July, Ingleton Cubs ventured to Clapham to visit the Cave Rescue Organisation depot where they were given the ‘grand tour’, including sitting in Land Rovers and playing with the radios. They also helped set up and operate a pulley system to help save someone who had fallen from a height. After exploring the Land Rovers with the sirens sounding, they learnt how to use and carry a stretcher. With some careful lifting and some good instructions by the Cub at the head, they managed to carry each other round the depot! A good night was had by all and a big ‘Thank You’ goes to CRO for all they do!
