Who are Cub Scouts?
Cub Scouts are girls and boys who join a Pack aged eight and move
on between the ages of ten and eleven. In Ingleborough District a co-educational
pack meets in Ingleton and a Cub Pack for boys only meets in Settle.
It is hoped that the Bentham, Hellifield and Long Preston Packs can
be reopened in the future with the recruitment of additional volunteers.
If you would like a Pack in your village contact us via the link on
the Home Page.
Who runs a Cub Pack?
Akela, the Cub Scout Leader and Assistant Leaders make up the adult
team responsible for a Pack. It is their job to provide a vibrant
programme but we are always looking for Helpers, Young Leaders, Skills
Instructors and parents/carers to support particular activities on
a regular or occasional basis.
Please E-mail us if you are interested in helping.
